Georgia Cranko is a Sydney-based performance artist, writer and activist, she creates work dealing with the minutiae of the every day as a way to expose, understand and celebrate inhabiting a body from an unconventional perspective. She majored in Gender Studies as a part of a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences at The University of Sydney, and she is a self-described cultural theory nerd. This continually informs her artistic practice, politics and her sense of identity. In 2017, Georgia took part in Emerge, a professional development for artists with disability, run by FrontUp, which culminated in devising a solo work. Last year, she was a participant in Stephen Cummins Workshop Intensive at PACT. Georgia undertook a residency at Legs On The Wall through their Spark program, May. She also curated the May PACT Salon, Dark + Lite.
