Pooja Mittal Biswas is the author of four books, and has been interviewed and reviewed in The Age, The Australian and ABC Radio. Biswas’s fifth book, a Young Adult fantasy novel titled Earthstone, is forthcoming in 2020 and will be announced on Twitter at @poojawrites. Biswas has been widely published in literary journals like Meanjin, Hecate and Jacket, and was selected as a national representative for UNESCO’s Babele Poetica project. Biswas’s poetry was also anthologised in both The Best Australian Poems and The Best Australian Poetry. Biswas has mentored new writers at the Emerging Writers Festival and has taught creative writing at various institutions.
