For 25 years, Octapod has supported arts and culture in the Hunter region.
Like so many arts bodies, our organisation was hit hard by the pandemic, and as a result we underwent an extensive service redesign project in 2020 and 2021. We met with artists from across the Hunter, and spoke with the education and arts industry sectors to better understand the challenges that exist currently for emerging and experimental practitioners.
By the end of our research and conversations, we had a razor sharp image of who we are trying to help, and swag of updated or brand spanking new prototyped services to offer.
Another thing we've done is simplify our business brands. In 2022, we're so pleased to announce we're consolidating all our offerings under the single organisational banner of This is Not Art or TiNA (retiring the Octapod name).
