From bikie gangs to prison: Vice writer Mahmood Fazal has seen the underbelly and is now on a mission to advocate for the voices we don’t hear. At this event we’ll hear how, after abandoning his role as the Sgt-At-Arms of an outlaw bikie gang, Mahmood has devoted his life to helping disenfranchised migrants from the Afghan community. This in-conversation between Mahmood and Kimberley Hanson will not only explore Mahmood’s career as a writer, but also challenge our views on crime, otherness, incarceration and radicalisation.
