Writing the Arts

It may seem like the dream to write about your favourite band or review a stunning art exhibition, but there is much more to arts and pop-culture criticism than meets the eye. At this event, our panellists will discuss the intricacies of critiquing and reviewing, and possibly give you some tips on how to get paid to see your favourite band perform live.

Are you coming?

Our festival is 100% free. It’s always free. But this year, National Young Writers’ Festival is asking for you to register for the festival. Registering for our festival means you can help us maintain and secure our ongoing funding. We rely on funding to provide this opportunity to artists and audiences. We need to understand who exactly we provide this opportunity to.

Can you support NYWF?

During registration, you’ll see an opportunity to buy a NYWF supporter ticket. If you love our festival, we encourage to help support our festival by becoming an NYWF supporter. The “ticket” doesn’t get you into anything extra, it’s a contribution to support the ongoing running costs of our festival: which is 100% free to attend!
