Never been to TiNA before? Don’t worry, we are here to help. This is Not Art Festival is a platform for artists to showcase their works and share ideas with audiences like you. Over the festival weekend you can expect to find comedy, modern dance, and interactive performances taking place throughout the Newcastle CBD. Make your first experience at the TiNA Festival a memorable one by attending these must-see events. You won’t be disappointed, I promise.

Night at the Living Museum Presented by Crack X

Re-discover the hidden stories and locked-away mysteries in an after-hours tour of the Newcastle Museum. An immersive experience that will entertain and test your brain as you solve the riddles of the Museum. Bookings are essential.

[Fear less] Presented by Crack X

We’re all afraid of something. [Fear less] is a verbatim experience that is staged inside a maze. The audience is guided through a collection of real people’s fears as the performance encourages you to distinguish the line between rational and irrational.

Promethean – Presented by Crack X

This is an experimental composition inspired by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. The contemporary feminine experience is at the heart of this performance as you are guided through creative thought surrounding feminine existence; power and vulnerability, knowledge and silencing, empathy and cruelty.

Collaboratory – Presented by Critical Animals

A jam session for all ages and levels of experience. There will be a variety of adapted musical instruments, allowing you to add to the texture of the overall soundscape. Producer Join Carlin McLellan, will be there to facilitate your musical journey.

The Late Act with Mason Manhattan – Presented by Crack X

Mason Manhattan is an actor and talk show host who will be filming his debut episode in Newcastle. The late-night shenanigans will be filled with celebrity guests, games and cheeky banter.
