An innovative and wild dive into the psyche, emerging artist Liana Goninon explores notions of mind, heart, the language of dreams, transcending limitations, cycles, archetypes and the secrets of the universe in a metaphorical garden on the planet of restriction and limitation. This has been undertaken through painting, drawing, soundscape and performance art.

The work is designed to evoke emotional response deep within the body and is layered in meaning. It also aims to highlight the ways we demonise very normal mental phenomena/self-resolving processes in the modern world and offers an opportunity to heal this part of the psyche through connecting the audience to their inner child and unconscious simultaneously.

The large paintings in the exhibition have also been translated into synaesthetic soundscapes for a deeper impact whilst viewing. Audience members are encouraged to bring their headphones and devices as they will be able to scan the QR code below each piece and listen to the work as they view.

Opening night: 5pm to 7pm Wednesday 19 October
