Activism starts as a thought before it becomes an action. The smallest idea can spark great change.

This October, TiNA will be taking over Open Mic nights at The Press Coffee and Book House with the theme Writing as Activism. We’re inviting all writers to get up and say what’s on their mind! Come down and recite something you have written in a safe environment of likeminded people. All forms of writing and ideas from all levels of writers are encouraged. Free entry and a free post-gig cuppa for all performers!

Writing as Activism Programmer: James Rhodes.

Venue Partner: The Press Coffee and Book House sells great coffee, in addition to delicious toasties, sweet treats, an eclectic curation of new and used vinyl, pre-loved books and unique gifts for discerning coffee lovers, vinyl collectors and beautiful bibliophiles. Thank them for their support of our Festival!
